Are you guys with snuglids happy with fit , finish etc? I have one on order ,then I read an article on the ******* x 2000 and was wondering if its worth the 400 bucks more. thanks for your opinions.

 

Love ours. Even got a second one when we spun the truck and broke the first one.

 

Won't argue, Snug - Lids look real nice. Was a silver '01 with the lid on, I was impressed.
Went to the Snug - Lid dealer to get mine he was out and would back order it.
I went to the next lid place up the street and went in to ask if he had one for my black '02 L. On the way in I spotted an '02 Harley Davidson F150 coming out with a lid on. Long story shrot, it had style and great function. Asked the dealer to get me one, he said it was a Leer. I ordered it on the spot. It costs about $50 more than snug lid but looks better, my opinion.
It has a raised middle line about 18" and maybe 1/4" high and the lid kind of lifts at the end like a spoiler. It is single center keyed and carpeted.
Go to the product directory on this site and look up deck lids. Visit the sites, Leer has one with pics of an 01 F150, have a look, you might like it.

 

It was my most expensive mod and it was worth it. Largest trunk space in a sports car!

 

The Snuglid's do look good, but I got an ARE LSII and have been very pleased with it. It's a bit more rounded than some folks like though.

 

I have the snuglid and for the most part it is a good bed cover. The only thing is mine has a light mist looking spray of black paint in some areas. I can only see if in some lights, but other than that, its an awesome addition to these trucks. I've also noticed a slightly better launch with the added weight on the back.
