napa ceramix pads.. again!

the parts guy and i are gonna duke it out over these part numbers..
we agree on the rear pads for my 2000 L:
CMX 7584

but, we disagree on the front ones.. he called ceramix & they looked up the lightning part (its under the f150 heading, lightning specific) and they gave us this:
CMX 7558

i've seen several posts that state the pad used on the front was CMX 7576. the guy at ceramix said that that was the pad for a regular f150, non lightning specific.

which is it guys? the 7574's are $9x.xx bucks,
and the 7558's are $7x.xx

i dont want to buy the wrong ones, then not be able to return them. or use some that will work, but not be specifically made for the L.

thanks!

Unhappy hey, try this!

When i bought my ceramix pads at napa, the guy bought some out but they didn't match the pads on the front of my truck. Well i told him the part number and he tapped away at the computer and found under part number CMX7576 was under a Ford, F250..lol..
.. yeah beats me too..
But they worked!

So tell him the pads are for a F250 and see if the part number comes up

Are these the same ceramic pads that PEP BOYS carries?

Can someone post the complete white lettering on the side of the pads?

In this number will be the cold friction/hot friction letters? They will likely be EEs or FFs.

Brooks, I took a suggestion from George McGee (Spike Egr.). I installed Carbon Metallic Z rated pads this time.

I really like the way the work and feel, using them in LA (that's CA) traffic. They are solid and stop well when hot.

This set doesn't even squeak. Brake dust-- well that's another story. I travelled 800 miles in four days this week. Completely black front wheels.

It's a small price to pay for survival amoung the unskilled, unconcious, LA drivers.
