Thumbs up Put my 160 stat in today...

I have not went for a ride yet, I really dont expect a seat of pants performance change just a running temp change. I just wanted to let you all know I used the Hypertech #1011 as well, it fit fine, no problems at all. I guess a few most have got boxed wrong at their plant.

Odin,

That pic you posted of yours looks just like the one I put in mine. Mine fell right in. Just to let you know man!!

No SOP feelings when testing but I did check the decimal readout and showed it ranged from 75C-78C which =about 169-171F.

I will 'test' it tomorrow at the track--along with several other mods.

In the war against detonation, a 160 degree thermostat is a valuable weapon.

Cool

160 stat is fine,,Its been shown you will make more HP..The reason, as I SEE IT is the cylinder walls stay tight and the ring seal is tight..Makes more HP but wears A lot faster..
