Mean as L

Ok, I live in Gainesville with three other L owners and i have taken trips all over FL. Every time I see another L owner on the road i wave b/c i think these trucks are cool and L owners have that love for these trucks in common. Well, for the most part, every L owner i have come across is arrogant and blows me off both on the road, and at the track, when I approach to talk about the trucks. I know you guys aren't like that, but it is really ashame that people have to act this way. SHOW YOUR LOVE FOR THE L!

Have you guys ever encountered this?

Yeah I get the same thing. I beleive it can be related to the fact when I get beside them and hit WOT they hear the unmistakable sound of "two lions mating" and I get that WTF look my L doesn't sound like that! Priceless!

I've seen this happen very few times. Most of the Florida guys are pretty cool.

Passed a black L on 82 Ave. the other day, him going south, me north. He had his arm out the window with fist raised high in a power salute to me. Just didn't see him in time Brought a smile to my face though He probably thought I was one of those old coots mentioned farther up this thread. Not the case at all... reaction times are slowing as I age But hey, who needs lightning fast reactions when you drive one of these babies

Sometimes there isn't enough time to respond before the other one passes you. It's happened to all of us.

It all just luck.

I've met some guys that are cool about it and some guys that just think its a truck an they like it.

One time I met this guy in a silver 2000 L and he saw me in a lot and he pulled up to me to start asking me about my truck. But he was asking me if I like the truck, would I rather have something else. I'm sitting there thinking to myself, "Ok buddy, you can't be that stupid, I've a chit load of work done to my truck, I MUST LOVE MY TRUCK." This guy just went on about how he wold rather have his corvetter back cause he thought it was so much better and cooler then his L. STUPID People I guess get lucky too!
