I dont know man, God controls us all. True I did make my bed, but in many ways it must not have been "MY TIME TO GO". My grandmother always said turn to God and your life will be easy of go smothly. I was lacking god for the past few years. He will be a big part in my 2nd chance at life....

There are many reasons why things happen.. We will never know the truth....

 

If you want something to read check out the story of Job in the Bible. Every time I think that I'm having a rough time I think of the things Job went through, how he reacted, and how he was rewarded.

The Lord kept you on Earth for a reason. You are very fortunate to have had such an excellent recovery. Life here on Earth is a gift and we should use it to bring others to God. Lightnings, racing, work, etc. is all a part of life and things we do for entertainment and to survive. However, we do need to remember that life is short compared to eternity. We are here today and gone tomorrow. The decision is how do I want to live my life while I'm here? That will determine how we spend the rest of eternity. Thanks for all of the great people I have met through racing and on this board, include you Richard.

 

I didn't realize how so many of you are religious!

 

It seems like everyone who has posted a bike horror story ended up mentioning that they were on an R1! Well, I just got home from my dealership and I am not getting the R1. I bought an FZ1. It still has the R1 motor but isn't as insane! With the money I saved now I can import the lower fairing from Europe and still have a bike that looks like the R1. Thanks for scaring me. Something tells me I would have ended up looping that R1. I have been dreaming of wheelies since I put down the deposit 2 weeks ago.
