I went from a 4# pulley to the 6# pulley on my daily driver. As long as you have a chip burned for it you will have no problems.

I use a 2# for my daily driver and currently a 5# for the track/racing. I would never use a 6# for daily driving. I would imagine you engine would not last too long with that much boost and your pulley being over spun that much. Just my oppinion though, other's may feel different.

I drive with my 6# on about 20 to 40 miles a day, usually the engine isnt even pressed hard. The only time I press it hard i will only take it up to about 80, I figure thats good enough unless im racing on the street then the sky is the limit ;p. I doubt there is any real harm on the engine unless it is constantly pushed to and beyond the engines limits. I believe if you drive it easy and only push it when needed I think you will have a long life with your 6#. Just my .02 cents

Fix It Yourself-Add HP

I think as you see more and more of these trucks running out of warranty some crazy HP numbers will start coming.
