Exclamation Chroming wheels, have ?'s

I'm considering have my '01 wheels chromed by Platecorp; but I have a few questions. Do the chrome wheels require more, or less, effort to keep clean than the painted ones? What do you use to clean/protect them? Finally, and most importantly at this point, what did you guys do for wheels and tires while yours were being chromed? I've been looking into prices for 16's w/ tires, but that's about $800. Any advice/info would be appreciated.

Thumbs up

Well I sent mine to Santa Ana and while they are gone I am just leaving her up on stands like it has been for the past 3 months!!!!! Anyway......I know you live in Texas so maybe someone else can help you.
As for cleaning chrome......it is very simple. Just wash 'em with the truck, dry 'em and throw some chrome polish on 'em occasionally. Then take her for a ride and blind on-lookers

Do an exchange with someone like Discount, unless you must have your own wheels back. Drive in with silver, drive out with chrome.

I had the chrome wheels on my 99 4x4 ORP, they are very easy to clean. I used Eagle One A2Z wheel cleaner every other wash or so and an occasional coat of wax. I want to get my 99's chromed too.
