TampaSVT i have a question
I sold my truck to a guy in tampa florida back in september.
this is what it looks like.
it is that old POS FAke lightning that i stupidly built last year and wasted well over $10,000 on.
anyway it was a fun project and i have a much sweeter ride now that i actually bought 2 days after test driving a 2001 L.
i was just wondering if you have seen the truck driving around.
in a way i wish i had kept it and gone through with my original plans of a 500+ HP engine. but i didnt.
sorry to sell a fake lightning guys. i know it gives a bad name to L's but at least if someone races it and kills it they will try it with all lightnings.
well, just let me know if you have seen it, or have you been to busy with the #$#@ polished blower. (that is f###### tight)

Steven:
That one would be hard to spot.
On one hand, great job.
On the other hand, no wonder the local car clubs talk so much sh*t. I wonder if they've raced him.
If I see it, I'll let you know.

thanks. i think that is the first compliment i have had on it since i finished it.
and like i said before i know i never should have sold it or really even built it without finishing my project.
but when someone offers you $15,000 for a 98 f150 with 70,000 miles it is hard to pass up.
i would have like to have gotten about 18,000 but $15,000 was just enough to put a downpayment on what i have now.
oh yeah and i love the bofas too..
i think they were the best looking wheel that i found except for the 22" Concept Neeper Monstas.
