What do you gies think of this race? A 97 camaro ss with exhaust and a blower want to race the L when it comes. I dont know how much boost he is running or what he runs in the quarter but he is talkin lots of ***** and I wanna put him in his place. Any idea what that will do in the quarter mile? Our race will be from a stop light so is my best bet that he blows the tires off? By then the L will have Chip n Filter , 5lb. pulley , line mod valve, and densos. w/ stock goodyears. What else should I add to my MOD shopping list? Thanks for your help and opinions.

I personally think that your next mod should be a set of street legals. A guy in my neighborhood has a SS that has a blower and he runs in the high to mid 7's in the 1/8. I have no idea what he does in the 1/4 but I'm sure it only gets stronger the further down the track he gets. I think your best chance is blow him away on the start, which might make him miss a gear or something. Thats how I take my buddy's tt supra.
