Well be gald your ok, thats good.

The truck can be fixed, and don't be suprized when they tell you the frame is bent a bit on your truck. Mine was a little tweeked on my truck when the same thing happened to me! I didn't break any ball joints though, just 2 rims and tires and that was the extent of the visable damage. My frame was just slighty bent, but now a days they machine the body shops have they can fix that frame and make it better then new!

I think a couple folks are being hard on him for driving a bit too fast for the conditions. I'm sure that little old lady didn't stop on a dime, with her little old lady foot pressing down the big brake pedal on her big little old lady boat. (just a guess, little old ladies always seem to drive big boats ).

So if the little old lady came to a complete stop mid-turn, and the guy was only a car length away, he was (a) following too close, (b) going too fast, and (c) basing actions on presumptions. (such as "the little old lady will make the turn at a certain speed and I can buzz by her rear bumper with a foot to spare at my current speed and distance...")

Say what you will, but I don't think it was a particularly fine bit of defensive driving. I however don't agree with flaming, mind you.

bigstallion,

It looks like the L will be in the shop another week.

My accident sounds similar to RTKILLA's. Both passenger side wheels were damaged and there was a slight bend in the frame. The body damage wasn't to bad. The accident itself happened when someone ran me off the road and I was trying to avoid the other cars when I hit the curb, had a blowout on the front passenger side, and then hit the gaurdrail. (Not a good feeling)

No one was hurt in any of these accidents, and all the L's can be fixed. WE ALL SHOULD BE THANKFUL....

Sorry about your L, glad you're ok and UGH, don't tailgate...a car length is awful damn close I probably would have locked you up on purpose, but I'm a total bitch.

Hmmm but here's something I can say....I've never rearended an old woman...or anybody for that matter...and no...I don't ride 1 car length from other people's bumpers. You seem to have a knack for being wrong in your assumptions. How long are the cars in your world? You might wanna read your response before you hit post too. It's a pita to have to try and make heads or tails of.
They shoulda stopped makin Ls in 00 hehe

Thanks for posting this SVTGirl. I was trying to get that point across to Mr. Stallion myself but was accused of being ignorant. By the way he used the word, it is obvious that the guy doesn't even know what it means.

Mr. BigStallion:
I'm trying to be nice. I'm sorry you wrecked your truck and I'm glad you're alright. However, you were clearly in error.

Now please take WhiteLightninSVTGirl's advice. Read your posts before hitting the "Submit Reply" button. I'm fully aware that this board isn't an essay contest, but it doesn't take any more time to write a structured sentence. Your posts are almost unreadable.

Have a good day, I hope you get your truck back soon.
