Hey man,

11SecL is really wanting some info on your side pipes. I posted some of the pics I saw. If you would post him where you got them and how they install. You know the basic stuff!!

11sec, I don't know if these will help, but they are my cobra sidepipes. They are not, however on my Lightning. It will gove you an idea what they should look like.

OK, I had a major business issue (positive but pressing) that pulled me away from all things not-work since before Christmas. You're question came to me because the old thread had a "email-me-if-anyone-responds" feature.

The side pipes were installed in Orange, California by a muffler shop that wants to remain anonymous. They were good spirited about the install but they made it clear that they never wanted to do one again.

As the pipes have aged a little the sound (they are glass-packs) has become even better. They let out a ripping growl that makes you look at the tips expecting to see flames. The power increased very marginally at the lower end.

At 60 mph they're a little noisy - but, hey - who goes 60 mph?

Wish I could be more helpful.

Currently, working on ghost flames and a custom through-the-hood air intake scoop.

I understand their position - they run a production operation that slams out "widgets" in three bays. One manager runs two shops and he's very hands-on. When he, his supervisor, and a welder have to stop and think a job through they're leaving two Ford Taurus's with 30 minute jobs sitting .

It's all about money with these guys.
