OK, I had a major business issue (positive but pressing) that pulled me away from all things not-work since before Christmas. You're question came to me because the old thread had a "email-me-if-anyone-responds" feature.
The side pipes were installed in Orange, California by a muffler shop that wants to remain anonymous. They were good spirited about the install but they made it clear that they never wanted to do one again.
As the pipes have aged a little the sound (they are glass-packs) has become even better. They let out a ripping growl that makes you look at the tips expecting to see flames. The power increased very marginally at the lower end.
At 60 mph they're a little noisy - but, hey - who goes 60 mph?
Wish I could be more helpful.
Currently, working on ghost flames and a custom through-the-hood air intake scoop.
