I just prefer the red lights on my blk truck. I'm going to modify my clear lights, we'll see how they turn out.

Fellow Lightning junkie,

Do you know anyone who has modified their lighting to create twin exhausts coming out of each side?

I would like to contact them so that I can create twin exhausts for each side of my lightning--so that the passenger side looks like the drivers side body facia and exhaust.

When I ran at Atco at the end of Nov (best time-13.78, stock, with a LOUSY 60 ft. time) there was a 2002 Electron Blue Z06. Guy had the hood up and all I saw was a carbon fiber cold air kit, dual conical air filters. He was running consistant 12.1's. My last run was against him. I had him for about 50 ft., he grabbed 2nd and started to pull away, end of story.

 

The tail lights almost turned me off of the '01. The first thing that popped into my head was, "Why would Ford force those ricey looking lights on us." I've gotten used to them now, and the '01 wheels, too. I didn't like them when I first saw them and I'd say that a lot of people that see the truck for the first time have the same reaction.:o
