Sylvania Xenarc HID lighting
Just installed in my '97 the new Sylvania Xenarc HID kit, which is a pair of bolt-in headlamp assembly replacements, and the appropriate wiring harness.
What a difference true Xenon lighting makes. I can actually see down the road now. Xenarc part number is X2010. Highly recommended.

You can also order the kit from CSK Auto.
Blaum8, what color do the lights give off, Is it blueish?

Xenarcs . . . more
Okay, I got mine aimed a couple days ago with a Hoppy Vision One Image Processing aimer.

Very, very cool. Actually measures the light output and provides correct aiming within .1 inch. Mine are dead on, with a print-out of before and after aiming results to prove it.
Now, with a few nights of drving around under the belt, all I can say is that this was just about the best 8 bills I've ever spent on my truck. Down the road illumination is vastly superior, and the alternating photos at the Sylvania website (see link in above post) actually do a pretty good job of demonstrating the difference in light output and down the road visibility.
And with perfect aiming, I've had no one flash me like I'm blinding them or something.
The Xenarcs really add to the nighttime safety factor and also are very nice looking on the truck. I may have to do the Xenarc foglights upgrade (part no. X1010) since I'm so pleased with the Xenarc headlamps.
