Need wiring help

After looking under my dash I can't even see where the hell the grommet is that goes to the door. Could someone please tell me how they did it and give some hints.

I guess your looking for the wires to the speakers or the key pad. The hole is there, on the drivers side it harder to see because of the brake pedal. Look on the other side first to get an idea of where it is and all. If your running wires for an AMP or something I ran mine out the hole in the back corner of the cab and down the frame to the Batt. Hope this helps.

What type of plumbing did you use for the wires running under the truck?

okay.. i looked at it. i remember now. that side is a #itch!

it's been a while, but i think i remember how i did it.
you take the rubber boot off that goes between the door & cab,
then using a flexible rod (or your fingers) feed the wire from the outside of the cab. you'll have to fish around behind the parking brake to get it out.
after you get that done, feed the wire thru the boot into the door, and the other end under the carpet to your amps..
oh, if you do check that email, you'll get a pic..

hope this helps.

When I installed the Kicker components on the doors, I ran new wires rather than use the factory wiring. I used a coat hanger with the end folded over to eliminate cutting the existing wiring and snaked it through the grommet, rubber tubing from the door side. I ran the coat hanger well into the cab side so that it hung down from below the clutter. Tie the new wiring to the end of the coat hange still inside the door and tape it to allow easy access through the grommet. Pull the coat hanger all the way out from the cab side along with the new wire. Just be careful not to nick the factory wiring when snaking the new wire through. It took about 1 hour to complete.
