Question Sal Team PSP

Sal do you know how I can increase the fuel pressure. I have installed the 255 pumps and a vorteck fuel regulator which will allow me to increase the fuel pressure to about 80 psig under boost conditions. However it seems that the Ford computer is reducing the voltage to the fuel pumps under certain conditions does anyone know how to get around this problem. I would prefer to increase the fuel pressure and not increase the injector size unless I have too. Chet

38,

There was that device someone on here posted about that makes the voltage to the fuel pumps higher. Its a cheap way to increase volume out of the stock pumps. With the 255 pumps and that device you may get close 300 or so I guess. I know it is like a voltage booster or something. Just a thought...

good to hear your still around, be careful on the fuel pressure, some makes/brands of injector will shut down under to much pressure. I'm not sure about the lightning injector, but just a heads up.
