Leaking power steering pump?

Is this common, and has it been previously discussed here?
If not, does anyone else have it? If so, what have you done
about it? Just curious as mine has a puddle under it.

Every ford I ever owned had a leaking power steering pump. Why should this one be any different. Yup, I got it too. Noticed it when I was changing my pulley out.

The o-ring fitting on my 97 leaked. Same problem with the Y2K. Dunno how they fixed it, but so far it's not leaking.

Pump Replaced@ 17496 miles

I noticed a very small leak coming from the front seal of the pump, when having the oil changed. Took the OLE L to the dealer and the service mgr put a new pump on ....NO problem Smith Ford is the best dealer I've been to for repairs.
