Thursday. 11:45pm. Riding home after having dinner at the frat house. Not alot of other cars on the road. Come up to a yellow light that I don't make. I start seeing these bright blue lights in the rear view with the familiar sound of ear-shattering bass. A blue Civic Si pulls up beside me with two other guys and a girl in the car. His car had all the typical ricer stuff from a huge wing to the coffeecan exhaust.

They spot the L.

The driver turns his head to look at the other guys in the back and says, "This is gonna be funny."

Light turns green. I give him a split-second head start and then WOT. All I saw after that were those blue lights in the rear view.
Next light, he looking VERY mad and his friends are taunting him from the back seat. On green, he burned 'em, and I just let him go.

Once was enough.

(P.S. LAST NIGHT WAS MY VERY FIRST KILL IN THE L!!!!!!)

 

Do all of you remember your first kills???

 

First kill in the L was a 0-140 run with a 94 Z28. My truck had 30 miles on it. I had taken it to the track 30 min. after buying it. Ran a 13.70 bone stock and wore out that Z from start to pegging my speedometer!!!

 

There you go One ricer down thousands to go I hate to say it but my first kill was a F150 HD. He just wanted to see what his truck would do against the L though. It was over quick/ I was stock then too.

 

What I'd like to know is.... What kind of moron pulls up next to any vehicle with a flame job, in a four banger with a car load of his buddies no less, and takes a chance of talking smack.

My first kill was when i went to pick my L up and my dad drove my Supercharged Ranger home and we did a little 20-115 blast on the LIE here........ lol

 

No Races yet in my new Blue 2002 but am looking forward to it.. want it whip up on a hot car and let him know a truck beat him..
