Question 5.4 boss F150

anyone ever here of the 5.4 boss f150, i just saw one at southgate ford looked nice. dont know what they did to the engine i know you could upgrade to different stages i think up to 4. sorry no pics.

Is this new for '02?? Was it orange? Extended Cab, or single cab?

look just like a lightning but it had a different hood it was yellow with a little black on the hood. oh different ground effects

sounds like a Roush version of the f150 to me,,, they have made four stages of the truck for a few years now.

It could also be a dealer built truck. Back when the Gen 1 Lightnings were being sold, there were a few dealers selling dolled up F-150s called "Thunders".

I Believe that truck is being built from a company in Michigan. they basicly just took the lightning and put on aftermarket appearance accesory's no *performance* enhancements. i saw the article that was sent to All the ford dealers about 3 months ago.i believe we will be able to purchase these thru the dealership...JL
