Post Another Breather Cap Thread...

I know this has been covered one hundred times with one hundred different answers but I have one quick question...I currently have the Ford Racing breather cap replacing the oil fill cap on the passenger side valve cover. All was well until I yanked my throttle body this week in order to remove my blower snout (new upper coming) and was greeted with a puddle of oil in the intake plenum. Looking at all of the ways oil can get in there I have come to the conclusion that the additional 4 lbs. of boost I am currently running is "siphoning" oil through the tube coming from the driver's side valve cover and into the intake boot. When I checked the tube it had a nice coating of oil in it and I actually had a small oil puddle fromthe tube when I looked at it the next day. I don't think these recent oil problems are coming from the PCV side since the oil would have to take a nice circuitous route to get into the intake plenum. Needless to say, I'm not too happy about this. I have already capped the hole in the intake boot (similar to clonetek's setup in https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...threadid=59772 - kudos for the part numbers). My question is do I need to put another breather cap on the "nipple" on the driver's side valve cover or can I just cap it? I have seen that people have put a breather on it, used a catch can, etc. but is there any reason I would need the additional breather cap?

Thanks in advance,

Dan
