This truck is making do some stupid stuff. (non tech)
I dont usually mess around on the street but tonight I had a lapse of judgement. This damm truck turns me into an idiot 
I was coming home from work after a hella day and I was relaxing just cruising along minding my own business. I was on two lane highway (blue angel parkway for the locals) that leads down to the sub division where my house is the was no traffic in front of me but some to the rear and everybody was cruiseing around 45 or 50mph. no biggie.
In my rear view I see this car with fog lights coming up fast in the hammer lane and when he got close enough i realized it was a neon of some sorts. I dont pay neons any mind but has he went by me I thought I recognized the car and sure enough it was a some guy who is freinds with one of the guys who works for me. I know the car because the plate says "qwkneon"
Its pretty nice with some nice rims and the pre requsite fart pipe, he has some mods but no nitrous or turbo that I know of.
Anyhoo he is about 3 car lengths ahead and I decide to see if he wants a taste of the "L" so I start slowly creeping up and was paceing him at about 65mph with him 1 1/2 or 2 car lengths ahead. I guess he saw me get a little closer and he drops it down a few gears and nailed it. I hesitated for a second or two after he nailed it while I checked the mirror for any thing that looked like a cop car, I then hit it and it down shifted and I made up the ground he gained and shot by him like he was in reverse hehehe. This seemd to take only a second or so as I pulled him hard. The road dead ends into the navy base down here and my turnoff as well as his was about a 1/2 mile away so I let off as i got by him but my momentum from that point carried me about 2 - 3 cars ahead. Our turnoff was coming up so we both slowed and he got behind me after we made the turn so I decided to give another little taste of the "L" from a 20mph punch, However that was bad idea as it down shifted and blew the tires away hard. I had to let off and when i did it shifted into second and the tires let out a loud schreech. hehehe
Anyway I know neons are not much of a kill but I was laughing me A$$ off the whole time it was going, so I thought i would share . This vehicle continues to amaze me....

I have done the same thing. These kids with their pipes that make their cars sound like p*&^ed off weed eaters just crack me up. I just can't stand it when they think they are so fast. You just sometimes have to give them a taste of their own ignorance if they think they have a chance against an L.
