Axel Seal

While my tuck was on the lift yesterday I realized that my left-rear axle seal is leaking big time. Has this ever happend to anyone?? I am goin into the dealer on tues monrning to get it fixed and for this damn knocking noise i am having but am curious if this is a problem with other people?

The pinion seal.Been there, done that.

My bad ,I thought you were talking Pinion seal.I have not had axel seal problems.

whats a pinion seal. is that the right term for what i was talking about?

The pinion seal is in the rear end where the driveshaft goes through.Is your leak at the drive shaft or at the axle?
