I'm with NozeBleed on this one. . .

Yea, they get a plaque and the 20" wheels and all,
but those damn things can't get out of their own way.

I'll gladly trade the plaque & wheels for the blower whine and the ability to whomp most any other car out there in every statistical catagory (and carry a dining room table while doing it).

BTW. . .I bought my L used, and it took me 2 months to get the Certificate.

Later,

Unhappy something's a muck

Interesting how some receive certain items in the mail, and others don't. I got my certificate pretty soon after purchasing my L. Than shortly after that, I got my free membership to Team Ford Racing and SVTOA, small SVT catalogue, and other assorted small goodies. But still haven't recieved any hat. What the.........? Anyone else in Canada get a SVT/Ford hat in the mail? Hmmmm

Hey Zeus : I received a red hat but it is an SVTOA hat. Have received nothing from Ford Racing. I also heard we were suppose to receive and updated Svt manual insert as the one I have specifies the year 2000 particulars ... Oh well .....

I got a box from Ford Racing with all sorts of catalogs, pins, and a very high quality Ford Racing Hat. I had to go back and check my credit card statements to make sure I didnt pay for any of it. But anyway, the Team Ford Racing info said I am now a lifelong member. Thats cool by me. I got the SVTOA stuff also. Not as nice of a hat though (would never wear it).

Certificate came after 6 months.

Lightbulb svt certificate

I've asked this question once so I will try again. Does anyone know or could find out somehow if you can get the svt certificate if you purchased a used L that has a salvaged title history, and has been rebuilt. any info will be great thanx

Angry

Get ready to be underwhelmed. The "certificate" you get is less impressive than the attendance certificate you got in fourth grade for not missing any days.

Bitter? Not realy but after reading the bull***** in my owners manual on my 2001 I am less than impressed with the "SVT EXperience as they (SVT) describe it. If it is so exclusive and special you would think they would take the time to update the owners' manuals from 2000 to 2001. If I own a 2001 I expect to get 2001 data not 2000. Even POS Hyundai does better than that!

I love my L bu I think SVT better take care of details before spewing a bunch oc exclusivity crap.

Anybody out there affiliated with Ford and especially SVT please tell me why we pay this much for exclusivity (your words not mine) and you can't even put the correct info in my glove compartment???

Oh yeah, why do I have 1999/2000 parts on my 2001 after there has been a change for that model year? Save the BS cuz I know it is because you had leftovers.

I feel really special and exclusive with leftovers on my $33,000 truck.
