Just got back from speedworld, ran a 12.8 with the truck. Does this make me the fastest blue truck? Maybe. If you guys want pictures of the timeslips or whatever thats cool, im just too lazy to do it now. -L8er

First true blue I've seen in the 12's. Great times anyway.

Thumbs up

I was wondering if you broke into the 12's! Congrats! I bailed early after the C5 guy blew his upper rad hose. Seeing how that 160 stat hurt my runs, I figured nothing left there for me to do. Boy, was I pissed, that damn stat hurt me by a corrected .17 second ET!

So what was the actual ET (to the third digit), and what was your 60 foot time?

Also, what kind of speeds were you running, not just on your best run, but on the average?

Was that your only 12 second run last night?

So how many total passes did you end up making last night?

I assume that was on your M/T's? (damn if it was, then you'll be able to post even better times once you run a taller tire). Oh, BTW, if you do end up getting different tires, are you gonna sell you M/T's? If so, I wouldn't mind first shot at them.

My time exactly was 12.878 @ 106.036 MPH, and i think my 60-ft time was 1.888 (Timeslip says I1 instead of 60-ft?) That was with a cold engine, then with a hot engine i ran a 12.902 @ 105.658 and i think the 60-ft on that one was 1.890. I also ran about 15 times last night because i got there when they opened. I ran a 13.1 on my f-1s when i first got there. The rest of the passes were on my crappy steel f-150 rims that bog me down, stupid things. Anyways, im hoping to buy some aluminum rims and maybe a taller tire. -L8er

Good times, and congrats on getting into the 12's,
But you will have to wait until the tracks open back up around here to see who has the fastest Blue. I have the whole gamut of JDM performance parts for mine. I did have a head start on you though by procurring all of the stuff for the 99 and 01 L's I previously owned.
You might have gotten into the 12's first, but when the local tracks open, I'm going straight for the 11's. Together though, we WILL make Blue the fastest color.

Vruhm,

Wow, great 60 footers. I1, yes, correct, that is the 60 foot time.

The pulley is good for about .3, so that should put you into about a 12.58 or so. Couple that with the proper size drag radial, slick, whatever, and I would expect you to be able to pull a 12.50.

I wonder just how much the chip contributed to your ET reduction and how much the long tubes contributed. From what I remember last week, I think you ran a 13.35 and 13.37 on your F1's, and then the only change till this week was the chip and long tubes?

Are you planning on tearing it up again next wed?
