I've had them for about a month now but, havent been to the track with them yet being the last month of deer season and all spending too much time in the great outdoors but they hook up great on the street I'm launching a lot better with them expecially when they are warmed up!! I can feel the difference!! So I hope you have as much fun with yours as I'm having with mine and there not as bad in the rain as everybody says they are, havent had any problems with mine at all!!!!

Common sence tells me that a short sidewall tire, WIll not help that much with traction. Especially with heavy trucks.
Due to a softer compound rubber, I'm sure it will "hook' Slightly better, but nothing to brag about.

The stock short sidewall tires hook just fine. I would love to put a set of NITTO's on my truck, I think it would work just fine.

DL?
U have had ET streets before right? or tried them at least. I would think the Nittos can do as good as them without a stall convertor but will be better on the top end for MPH. I would say 1.7's 60 and 2 or 3 more mph top end!!

Richard,
I have ran a 1.75 & 1.78 on borrowed 26x10.5x16 ET streets from another L owner at my local track.
I hope the Nitto's that I may/may not have at the moment, :o help me run similiar 60" times. I wish Jan. 26 would hurry up and get here.
I hope they work as good or a little better, at least they will be a little more stable at top end MPH's.

I've got a set on and I'm going to the track here in Houston on Sun. I'll post 60' times whatever they may be. I saw a red '01 the first week in Dec. with a set on and with no converter and a 12.5X et truck, the guy had consistant 1.77 60 ft's. I hoping for the same or better. I'll post later.
