Replacing the power window switch

Does anyone know if you can replace the drivers side switch for the passenger window, with the same type used on the drivers side window? Basically looking for the one touch operation on that window as well. On nice sunny days in the summer, one of the first things I do is roll both windows down and open the rear slider. Seems kinda dumb to hit the drivers side switch to only have to sit there holding down the passenger side switch.

If i remember right the left/right side switch is one unit. I would buy another switch, pull it apart, and see if you could swap the internal pieces.

There is a extra wire on the drivers side that allows the auto feature to work. You do not have this option on the passenger side. The easiest way to make what you want happen is to install a window module for a alarm system. If you dont have or want a alarm system you still can use the window module. You will get one touch up & down on both windows with the module. It has built in time delay relays to make up for the extra wire that is not on the passenger side.....

Thank for the info guys. I had a feeling it was both of those things (one switch unit/extra wire). I'll have to look into getting my alarm upgraded.
