Still looking for Bilsteins

I know it should be a simple task but, I am still trying to find a place that sells Bilstein shocks. My local SVT dealer has no idea what they are, Lightning Force Perfomance doesn't list part numbers for front and rear, and they still have not contacted me. Does anyone have a source to buy online? a link? a dealer? I would be willing to pay extra if you have access. If I can't get a source by the end of the week I think I am going to Edlebrock. We shall see. R/S Dennis

For you Thread Cops, yes I did a search both here and Google.

Shorty. Best price I got was Ford parts on line. Ask for Gary Starr at 1-800 549-2005. You will need to buy 2 nuts for the rear shocks. 99 and 00 L is different. But he will tell you this . Sharp guy to deal with. Hope this helps. Bob.

Shorty, almost forgot. There are a lot of bad writeups about Edlebrock shocks. There is something about when you hit a bump the shock sofens up. You dont need this with the L. I like the Bilsteins. I little more firmer but nice handling. Bob.

Front: (AA-608) 1L3Z-18124-AC

You will also need the rear shock mounting nuts for the 01'. Sorry don't have those P/N's

Shorty,

I took my Blisteins off my 01 at 3000 miles. You only about a 1 to 1.5 hour away from me. I think they are like $40 or $50 each new? If you really want some, I send all 4 for $80 plus shipping, or you can come down and get them. I dont have a need for them since I dropped my truck... I should have everything you need to make them work on your 99 or 00...

Cool Bilsteins

Hey Shorty,

I have the shocks in stock. Can ship tomorrow.
1L3Z-18124-AC Front
1L3Z-18125-AA Rear.

I don't have them listed by part # yet. I'll work on that. If you order the shocks off my website just drop me a note and let me know if it's any different than a full set. Thanks and I'll speak to you soon.
