Pulley swap

On the 2001 lightning, is the top pulley larger than the bottom? If so could you not just swap the two pulleys and gain boost and in the end not have to buy a new belt? If anybody knows if this is possible please post u ur comments.

Top pulley on the SC is smaller. The lower pulley is larger.

You would not have any boost even if it were possible--if you want more boost, then either increase the lower and/or decrease the upper diameters. Come on man--the belts are only $35 or so.

I have a 2# lower pulley, and a 1.5# upper pulley and am still running the stock belt.

The pulleys are not interchangable. I currently run a 4LB lower and still have the stock belt.
