Pinion Snubber

I was talking to one of the tuners yesterday and we were discussing traction on the L. I am to that stage where I really need some help. My foot is too heavy He suggested a pinion snubber. Is anyone using one of these right now? I have seen a few back on some older cars (obviously a little different set ups, but still the same concept) and was wondering how well they were working on the L's.

A freind of mine and i made an adjustable pinion snubber for my L and it seemed to work great on the street but before i got to test it down the 1320 i blew a head gasket and i took it and everything else off before bringing it in. If anyone thinks they helps at the track, please post your results.
