Jeff,
Looks great, I watched the (Birth of the V-ROD) on the discovery channel and it looks like it is a Bad A$$ for a cruizer.

I think we need a factory forced induction ride to match, although this one is a little less power than our trucks (it's only 300hp/425trq, stock) but it's a lot lighter, and supposedly can light up the rear tire at 175mph, and tops out at 250ish

Here's my putt putt, tried to get a Silver L to match but they were all long gone, got the last white one around as a matter of fact.

BTW the V-rod is sweet, and I am not a HD fan at all. Seems like they got there act together on this one and even Vance and Hines have jumped feet first into the V-rod as a source for a possible sucessful NHRA Harley Davidson Pro-Stock attempt. BTW the motor was designed by Porsche from what I have heard so I bet it is real tough.

How loud is your 14468 and how much trouble for the install? It ain't easy picking a muffler. I like the one's Beefcake has but I live in MD and I'm afraid they'll be way too loud. I want something healthy but not like open headers.
Thanx
Don

Sorry, now that I think about it I should have just started a new threda.

I'm REALLY wondering what you paid for the V-Rod. If you don't want to say here, please email me with details.

Funny you mention that because out of nowhere some guys today complemented me about how it sounds...first time anyones really said anything besides freinds.....

I like the 14468 alot. Its really gotten louder since i've put about 5K miles on it - my freind says it sounds like a true V8 now. Its not obnoxiously (sp?) loud - (didn't want to waste the $ I spent on my stereo) - It has a good "loping" sound at Idle, a very aggressive startup sound, and an extremely mean, good sounding WOT. In my opinion, the glasspacks sound too soft/muffled - the 14468 is just a X pipe with a muffler around it (you can see straight through it) and it has a good, true exhaust sound.

Price is awesome too.
