Oil?

Will it affect my engine if i use 10w-30 instead of what's called for 5w-20. I would much rather use the thicker oil than the thin one? Anyone running with 10w-30?

I have run 10W30 in all my cars. I like the added thickness for hard driving conditions!! I doubt it will affect anything except gas milage.

I am running an ams oil 5w-20 and i drive it hard and have no problems and it gets hot here in Texas. My brother runs a royal purple 10w-30 and has no problems either. So either was it doesnt look like it matters. Just keep it changed on a regular basis!!
