Talking Non Tech >>My Mom and My Lightning!!!!

What is it about this truck

Today I had to retrieve my daily driver from work as I left it there to go out friday night and see jay leno in biloxi (beau rivage casino). Great show by the way. Anyway my mom and myself went up in my lightning to get my car and I let her drive it up to get use to the truck as she is not allowed to drive my company car so she would have to drive the truck back to the house. On the way there I kept coaxing her to get on it a little but she would not boost it much with me in the truck. She said she was just getting the feel of the truck. lol

Well let me tell you this truck turned her into a wild woman (rotflmao) We were heading back and I was following in my company car and I kept seeing her nail it then let off to see what it would do, each time she did it she would put several car lengths on me and the 02' Accord Ex I was driving. Once we hit the highway I attempted to sling shot her from the right hand lane about 90 mph, she saw what I was doing and she dropped the hammer on the "L" and she pulled away from me like i was standing still!!! I was laughing so hard I could hardly see, jesus christ I have not laughed that hard in a while.

The whole 25 minute ride home she was playing with every car she got next to and spanked the crap out of this poor 96 - 98 gt from a light real bad. All the while I am behind her in my car just rolling. We get to the house and all four feet ten inches of her hops out with this big smile on her face and says "damm that was fun I need to get myself a red one" bwahahhaha...

That's awesome. My Mom is terrified of my truck and my Dad insists he is perfectly happy with his 68 Ford pickup...My Brother also refuses to drive it because he has wrecked several of his own cars hehe

I let my mom drive my Gen 1 Lightning a few times. I know they were nothing like the ones we have now, but she needed mine a few times before they could get her a new car. I remember one time she was picking me up from work. She got on it a little too heavy crossing traffic while I was waiting for her at the front door of my work. I see my truck just slip a little sideways and I swear I could see the whites of my mom's eyes from a block away. She pulls up and asks me "did you see that? It has been doing that all day on me." I just crack up and tell her she is going to have to buy me some new tires!!

Oh thats awesome

My Father allways yells at me when we go anywhere in my truck, Even if I try to go slow. My Mother is not so bad she just laughes and calls me nuts.

My Dad drove it once, and scared the ***** out of himself.

I don't let my mom drive my L, she can't even drive her '94 Olds Cutlass without wreaking it at least once a year.

I did leave my truck at mt parents house for a while when I was on a business trip and I left the keys with my father and told him to start it up at least once a week to warm her up. YEP, he warmed it up allright!!! He got a wreakless operation ticket(67/45) and I had to come back and return the truck to my house because if I had left her there any longer he would have wreaked it!!!

I am very weird about other people driving my baby!!! I don't even let my girlfriend drive her!!!
