whistling noise-not s/c

noticed a "whistling noise" the other day, that seems to become more aggressive as enging rpm/vehicle speed increase. Almost like a wind noise. I have elminated wind noise, definetely not it. Eliminated heat / a/c. Did replicate it once when in park and i played around under the hood, but couldn't find it. Checked all the vaccum lines i could get my hands on , everything seems tight. Noticed it especally in the colder temp....ie 30-40. Any ideas. It' s not consistant. Hasn't done it in a day or so, but just did it again. Hmmm. Nothing acting funny, no lights.

Mine does it too! It never did it before I had my I/C replaced so I looked for loose vacuum lines also. What is it? I thought it sounded like possibly a metalic rattle, maybe in one of the belt tensioners but I couldnt get the sound in the garage with the hood up?

hmmm

i'm gonna work on trying to pin point it next time it happens...possibly, an idler, maybe fan clutch?? It's quite annoying though. I'll keep everyone posted.
