since the demise of the F body there is gonna be a SLP thunderbolt ranger on motorweek tomorrow...maybe they will do us some good and have some goodies for us soon...

That would be pretty cool.

 

SLP announced the Thunderbolt a few months ago, and it's nowhere near impressive. Spoiler, graphics, body kit. The only performance they add is a new exhaust and air intake (15hp, they claim)

 

Just caught Motorweek where they previewed the Thunderbolt; man, what a joke. Being a former 1997 Anniversary Camaro SS that SLP did for GM, I've got to say that SLP has REALLY missed the mark. That truck looks AWFUL! The ground effects have to be the worst I've ever seen short of those wide pieces you see on the S-10's and Dakotas.
