I need to take my truck to the dealer because the paint is starting to peel on the roof. I was wondering if they could also repaint my tailgate when the do the roof. Does anyone have any idea on how much that would cost?

They will do anything for a little $. Since labor rates vary as well as people running them, all you can do is ask.

 

When I take the truck in to get the paint fixed on the roof where do they do it? Do they have their own paintshop or do they pay a local body shop?

There are a few scratches that aren't on the tailgate and I'm a little worried about trying to touch up myself. I would like a professional detailer to take a look at them. Not sure how good the Ford place would be at this.
