03 ford mustang
03 ford mustang
just read in the detroit news that ford will be having a new design for the 03 mustangs,, just curious if any of you have spy pics of how it might look. Actual quote from paper was "New design should bring the mustang back to its 60's glory days"
Also they say a lot about how ford will not really be changing the way the cars look so much on the outside, but instead placing a lot more emphasis on the interior,,, i think thats a great thing, the only thing i like about the interior of the L is lots of room and the seats are great, the gauges are nice too though.
Sounds crazy too, even though they are cutting the cougar, the villigar, the continental and the escort, they say they will introduce 10 new cars a year till 2004 throughout their brand lineup. Sounds interesting,, makes me wonder just how many of those cars at the show actually will go into production,, sounds very promising if you ask me. anyways, thats all stuff i heard and was wondering if any of you know anything or have pics to check out.

You want to see what changes are made to Mustang? Go to Chicago next month when SVT introduces the new Cobra, it will be an "03" model. No reskin but one nice motor. Sad to say but you're going to wait some time for a new model.
up here in Canada they haven't sold the villager
in a long time, the escort was replaced by the foucus here
, we still have the cougar but it was based off of the contour wich is no longer here
so that is probably another reason why they will be gone (cougar).
I think if ford comes out with some nicer looking cars they will be back infront, I think ford was just to scared to change the tauras to much but when you compare it to grand am and grand prix ford needs to update the look, now mostly all u see is old people driving them, the only car i would consider now of ford is the mustang as far as looks go, the sho was nice but they got rid of that, and the new tauras dash looks awful with that big radio thing - ford should try to stop coping europe and keep with there own design. The european design may impress some but I think ford should look at the people who actually want to by a car in that group, make a new car like a tauras but sporty and get away from the weird dashes.
