Cool Moooo Traction

Hey I have a new Blue 2002 (4 wheel disc brakes) and I am looking for more traction.. Tell me what size tires and rims etc. you are running..

New Blue 2002
no mods

Blown 93
many mods........

Mickey Thompsons ET STreets(26x11.5x16") and ARE Baja wheels(16x10").

You can go with 15 inch rims, if you do a search both Johnny Lightning and Sal(Lightning Tuner) have just posted about 15 inch rims. If you go that route you have to slightly modify the rear calipers.

Both Micky Thompson, and Hoosier will be coming out with 28 inch drag tires in the next few months that will fit a 16 inch rim.

Hoosier will have there true 28x16 Slick out with in a month or so, and the DOT slicks out shortly after. The M/T 28x16 are still a few months away.

Don, i guess i will be waiting for the hoosiers also as i finally got ahold of somone from m&h,the company i was told already had a 16 in 28 tall wrinkle wall. The guy said they were coming out with a cheater slick only in that size.I should have told him to join the crowd. So much for reliable sources.

Smile TRACTION

I like my new Nittos 555 drag radials in the 305/45/18. I have no problems with traction now on the street or on the track

Also the composite leaf springs really help!!

Aus6321 I have thought about it.. That will be in the future.. I have only had my truck about 2 weeks, I still have my 93 Lightning for racing and i really dont want to do to much to the 2002 yet..
