I ran the chip in track mode tonite with outlaw octane boost. I put half of the 32oz bottle into the tank and used premium(91). On the bottle it didnt say what octane it put it up to but im pretty sure it was at least 100, probly 104, cuz there was no pinging at all, woohoo!! anyway, damn, does she move now! is it bad to run track mode on the street? I cant see any reason why it would be but who knows.

 

octane boost says "up to seven points"(ect).
it doesnt make your gas jump from 91 to 98.. it goes from 91 to 91.7
i think we discussed this a while back.. to really get your octane rating up, use concentrated race fuel, or unleaded race gas.

this is just what i remember being said. i'm thinking about buying some of that concentrated race gas stuff.. my local track only sells leaded.

also, i wouldn't run track mode on the street for too long.. its designed for running the truck hard for 13 or so seconds.. after that... ?

 

this was a one time only thing. i actually put 2/3 of the bottle in instead of half which is what it said so i think i am fine.
