If you have time in the next few days I need a favor. Since you have the BellTech 3/4 drop could you measure from ground to wheelwell exactly what your drop is ??? I measured a stock 2002 Lightning the other day and came up with 32.5" in front and 34" in back. I'm just curious where your truck is at. Thank You for your time.

 

Well I just went out and measured her up for you and came up wtih these.

These are all from the ground to the highest point on the fender.

Front driver side=30"
Front passenger side=30"
Rear drivers side=30 1/2"
Rear passenger side=30 5/8"

I just filled up with a tank this morning so its of a little. I got my truck pretty much level when I have a half a tank and me in there. Took some shimming to get it right but it sits nicer and It doens't **** me off to see it leaning now! HAHAHAHA

Also, remember I have the batteries in the back of my truck also! I had to modify the bell tach shackles to bring the rear end back up, so I'm on the third set of holes. Yeah the third set! I just cut up the shackle a bit and welded it back up to fit, but its about the same as before I put the batteries back there so it should be about the same.

I don't think I could even think about going lower with that tranny pan now. It hangs LOW!

 

Oops !! I might be swapping tranny pans in between oil changes.

I would like to bring my truck down there for some racing myself! We just picked up a new f250 superduty extra cab truck today for hauling our bobcats and chit around so I could use that and eddies trailer to tow the beast down there.

Well let me see what happens, I'm going to acapulco at the end of Feb. so it might be close, but I'm sure I can manage to get some time off. It should only take one day to get down there, just pop allot of no doze! I made it to St. Charles in Louisianna in 14.5 hours from chicago in 1 day. That was a nasty haul!
