NOPE,it won't happen in 2003 maybe 2004,How do I know ?? We just started working on the dies at Dearborn Tool and DIE, Fords only North American Die shop.they need to be machined ,built and run thru Try out before stamping even gets pieces so its still going to be awhile.I know the F-250,350 gets a new look for 2003 but not 150.

I wonder where they are going to build the F150? The Oakville, Ontario plant is on the list to be closed down before 2004. I thought the F150 is built there. Yes, no??

Also, the Ford and Canadian auto workers union contract expires this fall, which means if Ford can close down the plant, they will not be violating the union contract. The US UAW contract expires September 2003.

So, I am thinking the Ontario plant might close next year after the model run is completed.

Ford actually has 4 f-150 plants soon to be 3.But since the newmustang is going to Flat rock Mi.(home of the soon to be extinct cougar) which is still a Mazda plant, the old mustang plant is doubling in size and going to run a multy plateform TRUCK. could be ranger and explorer since edison N.J.(ranger) and St. Louis (explorer) are single plateform plants and scheduled to close. Being across the street from the plant I'll know right away whats coming out the back doors
