Damn tranny pan!
Damn tranny pan!
So I had the beast out last night again and oh my god! I went to see my girl and in her apartment subdivision there's these speed bumps that just **** me off. So last night we go out and we coming back and as soon as I go over the bump I hear this loud noise from under me. First thing I thougt, The tranny pan hit the bump DAMN! Well I get out and look under the truck and everything looks fine, but its dark out anyway. So I got to work this morning and jacked up the truck to check it out and sure enough the pan had a scratch in it. Nothing real major but it still freaked me out big time. I wonder how often that happens to people?
This is a bad mother pan to be able to handle that abuse and survive another day.
Have any of you ever had that happen to you? This pan hangs so low and my truck is lowered so much that I'm so scared to drive around town now.

damn
nice new pic. i plan on putting the larger pan on, since i'm a daily driver, don't think i wanna lower the truck with the bigger pan. Two inche can make or break it. Glad to hear nothing major happened.
I have a big dent on the bottom of my oil pan & on the front side (front corner) on my transmission pan. I slid sideways over a culvert on night. I can't believe they both withstood so much damage & still don't leak or anything.

You know whats worse, I'll never be able to drive over one of those new speed humps! Those are killers!
I don't know how the guys in the low sports cars get around. Or how in the world does DJY do it! They must have some super nice roads in the Islands. Chicago is torture!
