Got spanked by a ricer last night
I hate when that happens.
So there I am, having good consistant runs last night, and then I get a chance to run this older Civic. Loud as hell, it was irritating me through the helmet! Anyhow, gutted interior, don't know all the mods, but I see him every night I go, and he always is ripping stuff out of it and wrenching on it, with a large crowd of onlookers. Anyhow, I know he's gonna be a runner, so of course I redlight with a premature .369 reaction, and of course spin the hell out of it through a good part of first and run my absolute worst turtle run of the night of a 13.584 and he pulls a 13.349. Argh!
All I'm saying is, I hate um (but gotta love those guys, cause they keep the track open on Wednesdays), but they are starting to get these things running. Never have I seem them barely on occasion one or two of them breaking into the 14's at our track, and last night there were several in the 13's.
Oh, well, they start in the 16's and mod them down to the 13's. I'll start in the 13's and mod down to the 11's.

I raced a Honda the other night that ran a 12.30 to my 12.44. Since it was friday night grudge matches, I guess I beat him since I was about 2 tenths quicker at the light. It sure suuprised me though.

Yeah those Hondas are nice. Not like the Riced out street stuff. I mean they gut them, gage them. Its funny to hear a 4 banger camming. I have much respect for Forgein cars!!! I see high 13's and low 14's out of some stock production cars now. Its amazing what technology has come to....
Our Tuners have to keep on the ball so we can just compete with these guys!!!
