GOOD MOVE
Even though i am a die hard chevy fan it was either a Z06 or the lightning so i thought about for awhile and decided i can save $20k and get a truck that kicks the vettes a$$. so i traded in the 2001 camaro ss. was definetly worth it.

Gave up nothing originally. But after I had the Lightning for
several months, I figured it met all my needs so I sold:
1. 99 Harley Low Rider ( kept the E-Glide)
2. My 65 F-100 428c.i/470h.p show truck
3. My wifes 53 F-100 show truck ( dumb@ss move, no ***** !!!)
NEVER EVER pi$$ off a Sicilian/West Virginian cross bred.
If your reading this Honey I am still sorry, Honest!!!!!
4. My spot in the bed, on the couch, at the dinner table
and etc. and etc..

i gave up a 98 camaro ss 6spd . the only thing i miss about the camaro is the 6spd and the top end speed but ever time i get in the lightning i have one of these on my face so it works out

Traded my 2000 L for my '01. Never been quite sure I did the right thing. But, hey, that's what I've got.
Before that, I didn't have my own performance vehicle. My wife had her 2000 WS6 and it pissed me off.

I traded in this, but OBVIOUSLY returned her back to stock before doing so.............Before the flames begin, it was not riced out. I have lots of friends with Camaros and Stangs that actually complimented me:

Well I wont list all my rides, I go through cars quick as hell. I hope the L sticks on me for awhile. Im only 23 and have had 20 cars since 1994. Ill list the most recent ones....

98 Ranger(Red) XLT & 98 Seadoo GSX L- Seadoo was modded

00 Ram Air Grand AM (Green) - Lots of mods. 15.50's

01 Lightning & 01 CBR F4I & 82 CrossFire Corvette- The Bike & L Both highly modded, but the Bike os Totaled now as you all know.
Best ET on bike was 10.91 @ 126 I thought that was decent since its only a 600 and im 220. The L has been a best of 12.50 @ 109 so far but that was with the 3lb lower and less mods so we will see how next year goes!!
I love cars and have had many. I guess I got it from my mom & dad they both use to drag race, my mom even had many trophies. My dad built old mopars thats why I like them so much. We have always had Corvettes though as well, Dad says it may be built by Chevy. But dont classify it as a Chevy, LOL. He was impressed by the L though. He has been a mechanic all his life and really likes how technology is performing now. Like I said racing is in my blood, I hope the L dosent wear off me anytime soon, I have went throught to many cars!!!

I got rid of my '96 Dodge Ram. It was my first real big purchase, so it was hard to see it go. I had 6 good years with that truck, but I wanted a Lightning, so it had to go... The L fits in the garage now too...
