I can't wait until tonight when i goto the track and get to open these babies up.... they stink a little right now but that's just the steel reacting and the wierd coating they put on it burning off.... anyways here's the pic... oh and while i was back there I put in new cats so that my everyday sound was different.... and so it passed emmisions. i think

the next pic is of the cutouts and boy dont touch them right after you ride... oops. i just wanted to see if the bolt was hot and i quickly got my answer...

and this is the space that was left over from removing the two cats... also.. the single cat wieghs about 15-25 lbs less each side. so that's a mild weight saver......... my bad this is is of the area cut off from the cut out

I have the exact same setup on my 01 L, and let me tell you...god is it loud, good way to **** of the neighbors! fun.
the only difference on mine is that its using 3 inch cutouts and highflow cats...
by the way spade, do you think thats enough space away from the manifold to not burn my valves? or to create a decent siphon affect for exhaust flow?

First off, VERY cool.
Couple of things though:
I think the cutouts have been proven to lose HP on the dyno.
SOME type of muffler is required at the track (unless they are REALLY lax)
