Far Away From Tuners - Need Input

I am going to buy a diagnostic scanner, since I am so far away from any tuner, so that I can give them some accurate info if I have any probs. No dyno's around here, figure it would probably pay off in the long run on fed-ex and reburn costs. Question: is autologic's diagnostic scanner a good product or is there another someone would recommend?

Thanks,
Mark

yes they make good stuff. i was going to buy one but found little need for one unless i turned to the rice side of the force... i just made that up and i feel dumber... anyways. i have only heard good reviews of autologic as well as autotap. you might want to look into autotap a little more closely than autologic. bc the softwear for autotap is free. you can download it from their website. i think the autotap goes for 340. but you might wana check on it. Also just remember that these are all passive systems. you can only observe but you seem to know that already.

Thumbs up

I would call your tuner and ask their preference as to which one to get. They may be able to help.
The real ? is, what are you doing with the L out on the streets?
Thanks for all the pics. My wife used to live in North Pole, AK. Your pics make her miss it even more.

A couple of my Camaro buddies have Autotap. I think I can get my hands on it, but I am unfamilar with the details.

I'll have to get back with you on that one...

Thanks for the replies. Think I will call a tuner and see what input he has. Tundra be waiting to hear from you. Redneck will try to get some L in the snow shots for you if it ever quits raining.

Thanks
Mark
