Maturity and Tact

Doug does a great Job, Wasnt questioning his intergrity,or his agenda .

People come here to talk about lightnings, not to be criticized. For who they are and what they do. But when it happens, the moderator should be the last to jump into it. That's what should be asked of a moderator. The webmaster of a great site like this should know this first hand. I don't make a habit of calling people out, nor do I plan to do so in the future, but something had to be said about the people who like to come here and be completely ignorant to other people. If my problem was with just one person, i would have took it off the board, but it was with a quite a few people..... and hopefully my post made people think a little, if not,oh well. So roll out the red tape and close this one down too.

Just a note... nobody gave me a hard time directly, i just fail bad for the people that do get pounced on. They ask a question and the search police come running because it's already been talked about......or they misunderstood something about our trucks. There aren't many topics that haven't been discussed....but there's always new information. Kinda discouraging when it'll get to a point that new users won't wanna come here because they here about crap like this. Happens to alot of boards....wouldn't want to see it happen here. This board is great.

Maybe its just me but I always get razzed by the older fellows on this board cuz they don't want to her about my kid stuff with my L, but you what THATS JUST TO DAMN BAD!

You have to look at it this way, WHO CARES what this di@khead thinks. I've never taken time out of my life to pick on somebody and give them chit for mistakes they make, but I do one little thing wrong and it seems like I have 10 people jumping on my case about it. My spelling, my grammer, my ethics, my choice of words, my stories, everything it seems.

To tell you the truth, I don't have as much fun on here as I used to before it became such a technical board!!!! sure its great to learn new stuff, I love to. But having some fun while your learning doesn't hurt you know.

its doesn't matter what I say anyway. just give them the bird!

missed posting this earlier.....

To you and all the others that give your people on the board an attitude.....is it the simple fact that you are jealous that you didn't have a vehicle like this when you were young?(
BZZZZZ, incorrect. Many of us pootietangers and/or snapperbangers consider our trucks FRUITS OF OUR LABOR from sacrifices made when we were mere whippersnappers. This does not equate to being jealous. More later...

Some of the spoiled kids that are on here with their trucks are a bit too much, but there are many like myself that come here for good information and to talk to cool people that have similar interests.
DING DING DING.... Most spoiled, live-at-home-so-mommy-and-daddy-can-buy-my-mods 'posters are EXACTLY as you put it. TOO MUCH.

Yes, we come here to talk to cool people and discuss our one common interest, SVT F150 LIGHTNINGS. However, many of us could care less and/or consider it OUTRIGHT OFFENSIVE to read garbage about how many hoes are banged (recipient's age notwithstanding), numbers you snag, how much alcohol you can consume, and quite frankly, could give a rat's a-- regarding how much you THINK you know.

The fact of the matter is it is alot harder to move on your own at a young age. If your not young, you wouldn't understand. If I were to move into a 2 bedroom apartment around where I live, your looking at at least a grand a month plus utilities, which means for most young people, your driving what some of these guys on the board are laughing at for their winter vehicle.....forget a Lightning. A grand a month is almost a morgage for cryin out loud.
BZZZZ. Actually we do understand (for the most part). This is a simple level of maturity issue and money management. Personally, I'd much rather have an appreciating asset (real estate in your example) and have basic transpo than a depreciating one sitting in the driveway and stuck renting (or living at home) all for the sake of trying to have a cool image. The mere concept of the latter is humorous as well as disturbing.

Oh yeah, one more thing….

If you don’t like this forum… LEAVE.
