Yoda:

There is a recommended procedure to follow--light burnout and then let them rest/cure for 24 hrs--or something like that?

Mickey Thompson has a site with hints and recommendations.

Yoda,

If I've told you once I'e told you a hundred times...bring them to my house, throw them in the back of my truck and I'll take them out to the track and run with them in the bed. That's the only way they'll ever see 12's!!!

Throw them away and wait for the new Hoosier 28 x 10x16
Drag slick that will be out in the next 30 to 45 days.
Thats what I am going to do. Talked to them today.
I ran the E/T Streets because that is all that was available.
But not anymore !!!!!!!

Talking

The new Hoosiers sound great, but I'm not sure they are legal in the Street Stock class I run in. Gonna have to check that out now!
noelvm

Oh yea, Put the new ETs on, do a 10 second burn out and then let them sit for 24 hours. Store in your garage flat on sidewall not standing up. keep out of direct sunlight. Rotate from left to right every 30 runs.

Hey noelvm. I'm sure that they will be illegal in any street class
at the IHRA, or NHRA tracks.
However, personally I plan on running in the Pro class this
year. I get tired of chasing down an 18 second 90 something
Mommies car in eliminations.
My truck is by no means anywhere the fastest Lightning I have
seen, but I am very consistently in the 12:88 to 90's.
And I drive it more on the street than the track.
After carefully scanning all the Pro cars at my local track, I figure
70% of them will red light after I leave, and out of the remaining
30%, 20% will run under their index and be eliminated. The
other 10% I feel I can whip. I also have another secret traction
deivce on my truck that proved itself well last fall.
(Soon to be available to the public)
You can spend prize money, but I have never been able to spend
any of the 75 or so trophies I have collected.

hey yoda buddy. bout time someone can run with me... hehe. if you want to spend the cash you can take them to discount tires and have them heat treat them. then let them sit and that's all there is to it. i didn't have time to get anything done to them so i wana know what you do so i can follow their wear/ traction.

PS are you comming tomarrow?

Yoda,

If you drive your truck like you drive Gotham Racing, I would not recommend you even get behind the wheel. BTW, when do we play again? I look forward to your next spankin' on Halo.

Yoda,

It appears that you are being spnked left and right...first by the fastest L in AZ, next while playing Gotham Racing and Halo and before you know it PeterB and Spade$ will routinely be treating you like a whipping boy!
