Guys,
Have any of you mounted any autometer guages in the dash on the trim piece next to the steering wheel just below the instrument panel (ie on the trim piece that is "U" shaped that fits around the steering wheel). You would have to drill a hole for the guage, and press it into the trim piece. It looks like it would a great place to mount a guage, especially since the tripple pillar guage pod is all filled up.

Have any of you used this location? What do you think?

Autometer just came out with a pod that replaces the upper steering wheel surround..guage is left of center...
