fast forwards blown motor?

I know we all make some typo's but fast forwards claims to have blown push rods through the block? Very hard for me to beleive! Connecting rods yes, but were did the push rods comes from? I made a reply in the original post but it seems to be overlooked in the fret and worry that everyone with 6 pound pulleys is going to grenade. Does anyone know this person-truck in reality? Fast Forward I just need some more facts and times slips before I take off my boots. Looking for some feedback....

Who else, if any has had PUSHROD problems in there Gen 2 Bolt?

to my knowledge and i dont know alot about engines our motors dont have pushrods. i just didnt think pushrods were a part of a modular engine. but what do i know.... however i am a little concerned bout the 6 lb. my truck is a daily driver with 28,000 miles on her and my chip is in the mail as we speak with its fresh reburn for the 6 lb. pulley. i am still gonna go ahead with my plans to put it on but im just a little more worried now with all this motor talk. and i havent heard anyone say that they would put like a 6 lb on a daily driver and expect it to last more than 20,000 miles.

guess im fixing to find out.... she will be hammering when she goes

Gee I think thats the point I'm trying to make! There are no pushrods. Fast forward got a lot of replys about his blown motor and no one even caught on about the pushrods? Something smells fishy.

oh man

the guy obviously mistakingly called his connecting rods "pushrods". On time i was talking in a post about engine build ups and asked what guys were using for components just out of habbit I listed pushrods........not only did that flame over on me, but i swear i heard people banging on my door seconds later!!! Obviously there are no push rods on over head cams. I work on small engines and I had a guy that kept refering to a carb as the "thermostat".... go figure
