Hooker Headers!

Hooker has new headers for 5.4L engine. Here's a link to where I found the part #. Have a look and tell me what you think.

Here's the main page. Go to hooker headers then click on Emissions Headers- super comp. compatable pg.-6. It should give price check pop-up also. They're shorties; but, I'd be interested to see how well a set of super-comps perform.

Those are for Gen 1's only and are long tube headers.

You're looking at the wrong ones. They don't say lightning, just '96-'99 F-150 w/ 5.4L. Should they work with the Gen II L?

They might just be LTs. It says that the super competition headers use "tuned" long collectors. I heard that they were supposed to be shorties. That's what made go looking for them.

The Hooker headers for the 5.4 have been out for about 6 months now. They are shorties and I don't think they are worth the money. Long-tubes are the way to go for the Gen 2's.
