Whose Had a Trans and I/C replaced??
Well my dealer has had my truck since last year, I dropped it off last thursday for my new trans and Ic.
I was suppoused to have it back weds.
Guess what I was told fri, so i call and guess what Its not done call back at 4 its not done,call at 5 and guess what its not done, I i start gettin pissy since i dropped it off and ford only covers 5 days of rental, i had to return the car cause they wante dto charge me out the A%%.
So i was told at 530 Monday evening, Now my other cars are in storage and Im stuck with nothing, WHAT THE Pu*k.
So the service writer starts giving me an attitude saying well weve had the parts for about a month now, Yea Ok i had to tell them what parts to order and they didnt get there till 2 weeks ago, So i snapped about that.
And i know The Service GM, and i coulcdnt get ahold of him to tell him whats goin on.
Im pissed

I have had both done but not at the same time. First intercooler took about 2 days and the tranny took 2 weeks. The problem with the tranny was they also replaced a front brake rotor that was no where to be found. So, it took 2 weeks for them to finally figure out they had to ship one from Canada. The actual tranny was replaced inside of a week. I did have a car the whole two weeks as well and never paid a thing.
Wednesday she goes back for the new 2001 intercooler under recall and having the rear pinion seal inspected cause it is supposedly leaking, lol

GM Nightmare, I have had great service at Larry Roesch Ford. But they are in Elk Grove village. It may be to far for you to go. If you ever decide to go there. See Nick in the service department. Good guy to deal with. Bob.

im in streamwood now, lynch was close to my work.
sad thing is i know the service manager, and my boss knows him well, I doubt he knows anything like this is going on, Pisses me off cause im without a car and he told me 2 days to get everything done, i was like are you sure he was like yea.
I also told them about my cold startup knock, and the supercharger noise, they couldnt find anything. Yea ok i hear it everyday, on startup.
